My Top Summer Skin Care Essentials 2013

skin care favourites

Sailor is here!! Yes in my city. Finally we can spend on KFC’s boneless chicken, chocolate krusher, Zinga burger instead of STD calls. Trust me when I see the money we spend just to stay connected, I say to myself “man i could have got atleast 3 Mac lipsticks in it!”. You know what else is here? My summer skin care kit. Normally I’m very laid back when it comes to taking care of my skin…..just washing my face with Cetaphil 2 times a day is enough for me. But boy when your

boy is here you gotta look special. And that is all I’m concentrating on these days.

The other day I decided to make the sailor wait for a few minutes and clicked some photos to show you girls. These are the products I’m using this summer. Let’s talk of them in detail:

1. Avon Anew Day Cream Spf 20:

This is supposed to reduce your dark spots and help with skin brightening. It had “whitening” or “lightening” written somewhere too but you know. Its rare for me to use a day cream and I’m really liking this one.

2. Proactiv Daily Oil Control:

This is supposed to control your oil and give a matte look. Well in this May heat it can only control the oil for atmost 2hrs but in April it used to save me for a couple of hours more. Detailed review coming soon.

 3. Lakme Clean Up Range:

Now I first thought there is only one range – the “fresh fairness” one. But then I discovered the “nourishing glow” range and boy am I hooked. I don’t really use over-the-counter face masks except for Himalaya Neem Pack but now I’m a convert! Reviews coming up.

4. Clean and Clear Morning Energy facewash:

I always carry this tiny bottle in my college bag (although my classroom has got an a/c so I don’t really need it. It was a board room or something before then they moved it to some other floor but never got those A/Cs removed. So my class is the only one to have an air conditioner. Haaa! Every other course envies us!) But a decent face wash to get rid of all the excess oil. Works for my sensitive skin.

I’m going to watch “Ye Jawaani hai Deewani” tomorrow!! *excited*
